The Hill Cigar Co. came to Cfx in need of a new look for their longstanding brand. While their original logo was rooted in their location on St. Louis’ famous Italian neighborhood, The Hill, they knew they wanted to expand regional recognition beyond the STL area. They also wanted to appeal to a younger audience that’s newer to cigar culture.
We crafted a logo that speaks to the tradition and history of the cigar lounge, with a modern twist. The new logo is able to be used in a wider variety of contexts - something that we always consider during the design phase. If it can’t be embroidered, stamped, frosted, sized way down or way up — it doesn’t pass through our doors!
Your brand and website are important touchpoints in the customer journey to show potential customers who you really are. For the rebrand and redesign of the Longview Storage website, we knew we needed to represent their cheerful personality. The Longview staff aren’t just buzzing their customers in and out of the gate - they’re a friendly bunch that go out of their way to make sure customers feel safe, happy and satisfied.
For the logo refresh, Cfx simplified the parts and pieces of the existing logo to a cleaner, more modern mark. It’s important to us that we keep brand equity where it’s valuable during a redesign, so we kept their existing blue and added a bright accent color to complement the palette.
The new website is bursting with personality, from the fun animation populating with colorful storage items to the whimsical illustrations showing just how big a 10x10 unit really is. We also added a helpful size guide with examples to answer the most common question storage customers have: “What size unit should I rent?”
When you’re a team of people as warm and welcoming as Brand Asset Management Group, video is an excellent way to convey your personality to potential customers or partners. Cfx worked with Brand to craft this 3-minute video that tells the story of their legacy, what they do for their customers and where they’re heading in the future. We built the storyboard, art directed on set and pulled out key clips from the main video for them to share on social channels.
Our two week shoot on-site at jBloom Designs resulted in a gorgeous catalog that flows from the fall through winter seasons. We used models, props and florals to highlight the jewelry collection and give each spread its own theme. And we’re efficient here at Cfx, so we designed the catalog layout simultaneously alongside the shoot.
On a bright December day, an energetic group of employees gathered in the Cfx conference room to embark on a discovery meeting for not one but TWO rebrands for sister companies Arch Interim Corporate Housing and Empire Decor Furniture Rental.
We crafted brand identities for each company that work well alone or together, and rebranded all the corporate identity materials to match.
The Arch Interim website now has a fresh and friendly look that matches its luxury apartments. We also updated the messaging and content of the site to emphasize the concierge treatment of guests that makes Arch Interim unique.
The Empire website redesign places the emphasis on its luxury furniture offerings. We also overhauled the site organization and e-commerce flow to make it easier for customers to find exactly what they’re looking for. On the backend, this included customizing WooCommerce to fit Empire’s needs and resulted in a more streamlined experience for the customer.
In need of a website upgrade to host their newly-released education hub, Gateway Alliance against Human Trafficking reached out to partner with Cfx on this important project. Their mission is to provide training and educational courses to communities to help end human trafficking.
Up to this point, GAHT had only offered in-person trainings. The updated website allows them to provide interactive, in-depth training programs that are accessible to people from all walks of life. We programmed their user-friendly website with a learning management system that allows them to scale up easily as their offerings grow.
Despite the serious subject matter, we knew it was important to keep the design fresh and bright to present GAHT’s resources in a positive and hopeful light. This design translated into the other corporate identity materials, including business cards, letterhead, brochures, and pop-up banners. To direct more users to the website and bring awareness to human trafficking, we also created a series of digital transit ads that lived in metro and bus stations throughout St. Louis.
Blueprint4 is a non-profit search platform that helps parents find summer camp, after school and college prep programs that match their interests, schedule and price points. After 8 years of providing this essential service to St. Louis families, Blueprint4 was ready for a refreshed look and feel!
Cfx was asked to spearhead the rebrand, starting with a logo redesign, and apply it to their corporate identity materials, website, marketing collateral and social media platforms.
After the rebrand, we’ve continued managing the content calendar of their main social channels, including Instagram, Facebook and Twitter. We've increased their social following and engagement with fresh graphics and a friendly, helpful and enthusiastic tone of voice that matches their fun brand.

The Companion Baking team was bready to make a change to their tradeshow booth presence and called on Cfx to mastermind a new design. We crafted a branded booth backdrop (with shelves for piling on freshly baked goods, of course), table skirts and a podium design that brought the experience of walking through their impressive bakery to life. There's nothing butter than custom photography, so we shot on-location to capture their bakers in action.

After renaming to the Missouri Gateway Green Building Council, a new logo, corporate identity and tagline was in order! Cfx created a logo design that incorporates three colors, lines and sections to represent the triple bottom line of what the Missouri Gateway GBC stands for: economic, environmental, and social sustainability. The wave mark ties the logo to the St. Louis region, which has long been reliant on rivers for economic development as well as recreation and beauty.
We built on the new brand to create a complete corporate identity package, event materials, and suite of icons that represent the core facets of Missouri Gateway GBC's work in the region.
Along with the rebrand, Cfx was asked to completely overhaul the website. We created a mobile-responsive site with a fresh new look and tons of features, including events integration and a robust blog platform. It was also designed with accessibility standard requirements in mind.
As a proudly St. Louis-based agency, we were thrilled to be asked to design the logo for the re-launch of Nine PBS's program Living St. Louis. We came up with several concepts and worked with the Nine PBS team to refine a design that communicates the diverse spectrum of local stories that the revamped version of the program is all about.

We used lively blooms and carefully crafted model shots to complement the colorful jewelry designs. The 10 day shoot included over 300 shots of jewelry on models, arranged in flatlays and on white for the jBloom e-commerce website. Cfx also took it a step further and gave the catalog a fresh, modern redesign.
Drawn In is a new series of animated shorts and comic books that follows four kids who frequently use their literacy skills to problem-solve when mayhem arises. Created by Nine PBS and Lion Forge Animation, the series was built around promoting literacy and positively representing Black and Brown kids with smart, fun, and multidimensional characters.
We love when the opportunities that come through our doors align with our own values! Cfx worked closely with Nine PBS to create promotional materials ahead of Drawn In’s debut, including posters, digital banner ads, standees, and stickers. We designed a full suite of educator assets and a bank of social media assets to help teachers and families build literacy activities into their everyday lives.
We love when we get to be a part of the rebranding process - and we love it even more when we get to touch every piece of the new brand! For NOVUS Health, Cfx created a bold, friendly logo that speaks to the mission of NOVUS to provide high quality, accessible and holistic healthcare. They offer STI and prevention services, gender-affirming care, behavioral health and general wellness services to often under-served groups in their community.
The brand came to life in a suite of printed materials, two branded videos, social media skins, banners, tents, posters, apparel, building signage, and tons of swag. On the digital side, Cfx also built a new website with features that every healthcare practice needs - a patient portal, appointment scheduling integration, and a comprehensive list of services - while also highlighting the actions NOVUS takes as a non-profit to reach the people that need them most.

Cfx was brought on by the global supplement company BioGaia to coordinate and shoot a variety of sets showcasing their products for social media channels. Each set highlighted a different product and how it could be used in a fun, colorful and engaging way. With careful organization and planning, we shot 6 different sets in a single day in the studio.
Cfx took on the ULTImate challenge to brand and roll out a new-to-market energy drink brand, ULTI Energy. ULTI is geared toward gamers and esports enthusiasts with ingredients formulated to enhance focus and energy.
ULTI came to us with an existing logo and product label design that they knew could be better, but didn’t know how. We took one look and knew a brand redesign could give them the electric look and feel they needed to make a splash in the energy drink space.
Cfx created a logo design that would work in a wide variety of contexts—labels, apparel, swag—and could be easily color-adjusted to match new flavors when they were released. Our team designed canister labels and sample package designs for each flavor that bring the energy of the brand to life.
To handle the buzz from product launch, we also built a Shopify website with review functionality and custom pages to promote ULTI’s sponsorship program.
Our team had the chance to dig deep into the wide array of services that makes Trident Industries such a powerful force in providing end-to-end supply chain, logistics and construction services to their customers.
Trident needed a slick new website design, but more importantly wanted a way to organize their content so it made sense to customers looking for a service at any point in the construction process. We created a highly interactive graphic that lives on the homepage to make sense of how and when their services all fit together. The site was constructed so that customers could view Trident’s services sorted by category, and also by which phase of construction they fall under.

We collaborated closely with the team at Claim to create a script that captured their unique approach to coding education, interview program alumni, and showcase the new (and very cool) STL headquarters along with classrooms and study spaces.
Though their signature slider may be the first thing that comes to mind when you think of White Castle, the fast food chain has an ever-changing variety of new products to release. New campaigns come through six times a year, each focusing on a specific promotion or product. Cfx takes the look and feel of each campaign and applies it across a range of promotional signage and materials, including pole banners, window clings, drive-thru signage and on-site posters and banners.
We’ve got no problem keeping track of the hundreds of different sizes and image combinations for each campaign—the hard part is keeping ourselves from grabbing a case of sliders for lunch every day!
Sometimes what a client needs most is a fresh eye to see what brand assets to preserve and what should be overhauled. Such was the case with Process Control Solutions, a leading distributor of fluid power parts and components to customers all throughout North America. They have been a trusted supplier for Goodyear Air Springs for decades, so we knew this was a chance to give their long standing brand a new home that honored their history. Cfx stepped in to create a website that affirmed the trust and credibility Process Control Solutions had built up over the years, while adding e-commerce functionality and a better system of organization for their entire product index.
While the previous website had been buried as a subpage beneath parent brands, we gave industrial air springs their own place to shine. The website homepage became e-commerce focused, directing visitors to the information they need to know for placing an order right away. Deep dives into well-organized product spec sheets and product options were made available for customers who need more information. We also gave the site design a significant refresh, extending the brand colors in a clean, modern design with increased functionality for the ordering system on the backend.
Gunn & Smith Architects came to Cfx in need of a complete website overhaul to showcase their high-end designs for clients throughout St. Louis. We were able to retain the equity they had already established with their body of work and give those projects a new place to shine.

For this new company, Cfx developed the name as well as a brand look and feel, and applied it to a logo design. We also created a one-page website to highlight the core services certainIT offers and the industries in which they specialize. The website places emphasis on their unique assessment approach and encourages businesses to get in touch with testimonials and several calls-to-action throughout the page.
jBloom Designs is a wide network of designers who create and curate unique, personalized jewelry designs for their customers. Cfx was asked to shoot the 2022 Spring Collection for the annual catalog, jBloom’s social feeds, and e-commerce website. We shot both individual pieces and on models punctuated by jBloom’s signature blue.
BioGaia is an innovative Swedish healthcare company and has been a world-leader in dietary supplements with probiotics for more than 30 years. Cfx was brought on by Everidis Health Sciences to shoot professional product photography highlighting the family of BioGaia products. We orchestrated individual packaging shots, group shots on punchy background colors, and a fun GIF showing the entire family together.
Lusso is a fresh new fashion brand in the sports fan gear space. They needed a bold, feminine suite of brand materials and an online presence to announce their gear to the world. Cfx created a Shopify landing page for the initial launch that would be able to scale up as the company grew. Full screen images and punchy headlines introduce the Lusso line with a thread of pink that ties it all together.

Everidis reached out to Cfx in need of professional product photography to highlight one of their product lines. We were tasked with orchestrating and visually tailoring 5 individual packaging shots and one group shot.
Cyberup (previously Midwest Cyber Center) chose Cfx as its agency partner for the rebrand that they were concerned about initiating. Afraid to alienate an established group of followers the Midwest Cyber Center team and Cfx carefully laid out a plan of action. A new logo, more fitting tagline, positioning statements, business cards, banners, and social media were just some of things that needed to be considered. Now, with the rebrand being a huge success, the Cyberup personnel confided in us that it was both the right thing to do and that they could not have done it without the guidance and finesse of Cfx.

Photography for The Quiet Man Irish Whiskey website was aimed to highlight both their 8-Year-Old Single Malt Irish Whiskey as well as their Traditional Irish Whiskey. The moody aesthetics of the imagery pays homage to the darkly lit pubs of Northern Ireland where the product was first born.
Capabilities brochure design for Center for Conservation and Sustainable Development, which is a collaborative program developed by the Missouri Botanical Garden. The piece was designed to shed light on the goals and efforts of the CCSD while balancing beautiful environmental photography and rich informational graphics. The brochure was printed on 100% post-consumer recycled paper with soy-based inks to further their discussion about sustainable living.

2016 Limited Edition package design for Rebel Yell® Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey was aimed at garnering the attention of motorcycle enthusiasts at the annual Sturgis Motorcycle Rally. These unique bottles were distributed in the months leading up to the event and were used as promotional pieces for the sales team at the rally.

Brand refresh and web design for CIBC, a health care benefits specialist based out of Chicago, IL. The website was designed to garner trust from users, both new and existing. The fresh design centers heavily on full-frame photography, showcasing CIBC clients contrasted with clean typography and parallax scrolling to create a compelling user interaction.

NurseWise, a subsidiary of Centene®, is a national leader of nurse triage, medication adherence, health education, and outreach services that delivers positive, measurable results. Crowd-sourcing was utilized to collect recipes, in an effort to generate internal collaboration and excitement around their 20-year celebration.
Responsive website design for Regional Dermatology, the top dermatology practice in the Festus and Crystal City region. The user-friendly site showcases their doctors, procedures and products, as well as a platform for patients to schedule appointments.
